Role Distribution
The Role Distribution tab is a detailed view of Discord server roles. It shows how your community members are distributed across different roles and how that distribution changes over time. This view is specific to Discord communities.

What you're looking at
The page is organized into two views.
Role Overview
Four metric cards summarize the current state:
- Tracked Roles: how many Discord roles Sift is following.
- Members With Roles: unique Discord members who hold at least one tracked role.
- Largest Role: the role with the most members, shown with its name and count.
- Avg Members / Role: the average membership across tracked roles.
Historical Trends
This view shows how Discord role membership shifts over time:
- Daily change charts: additions and removals per day.
- Role sparklines: a compact trend line per role.
- Heatmap: a color-coded grid of member additions and removals across roles and dates.
