The members of your community are the most important to get to know. 1:1 interaction is foundational to getting a sense of community health but that's often too granular and may lead to tunnel vision. That's where an overview will help raise important issues so you can tell whether your community has the right people in it and their feedback is being addressed.
The user dashboard focuses on who is in the community and focuses on sentiment over time and personas over time.
Filter the table based on a particular sentiment. Look only at positive sentiment to see who loves your product and negative sentiment to see who might be good to talk to for a little constructive criticism.
Filter based on chart fields, it will filter all the other data on the dashboard.
Review the people table and learn more about the conversations people you want to know more about.
